Rugby League Code of Conduct
Participants in the game of Rugby League include players, parents, spectators, coaches, referees, and officials. Each and every participant should:

Discourage any form of unsportsmanlike behavior, foul or illegal play, or acts of violence, both on and off the field.

Respect the rights, dignity, and worth of every person, regardless of gender, ability/disability, sexual orientation, cultural background, or religion.

Condemn the use of recreational and performance-enhancing drugs and doping practices, as their use endangers the health of players and is contrary to the concept of fair play.
Important – Every person who attends a Rugby League match does so with the permission and license of the home club and/or league. Breaches of this Code of Conduct may result in penalties, including fines, loss of team match points, and suspension.
Coaches' Code of Conduct

Discourage Foul Play: Actively discourage foul play or unsportsmanlike behavior from players.

Maximize Participation: Seek to maximize participation and enjoyment for all players, regardless of ability. Avoid overusing talented players and treat everyone equally.

Player Health & Safety: Show concern and caution for injured or sick players. Follow physician or sports trainer advice strictly when determining a player’s readiness to resume training or playing.

Encourage Effort: Teach players that making an honest effort and competing to the best of their ability is as important as winning.

Professional Relationships: Always maintain appropriate and professional relationships with players.

Knowledge & Development: Stay updated on the rules of the game and current coaching methods. Continuously strive to maintain or improve your coaching accreditation level.

Health & Safety Priority: Always prioritize the health, safety, and welfare of the players.

Player Development: Help young players understand that there is a significant difference between their play and the professional game. Avoid coaching them as if they are professionals.

Adapt to Competition Level: Ensure your coaching style matches the level of competition being played. Do not adopt a "win-at-all-costs" attitude.

Respect & Leadership: Always conduct yourself as a leader. Show respect for the game, the players, officials, fans, parents, referees, and media, both on and off the field.
