Celebrating our 68th season in 2024, Wests Mitchy continues to be a beacon of rugby league excellence and community spirit. We are committed to developing talent across all levels, with a focus on the next generation of players.

Junior Program Excellence

In 2024, Wests Mitchy proudly fielded 19 junior teams, engaging over 360 young athletes (U6 to U17). Our program focuses on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, creating well-rounded athletes both on and off the field.

With over 140 junior games held at our top-notch facilities, we welcome more than 10,000 visitors annually, offering exceptional exposure for our valued sponsors.

Community Engagement and Support

We believe in positively impacting our community. Our sponsorship of Mount Maria College’s Confraternity Rugby League Team provides access to our facilities, supporting young athletes and fostering a passion for rugby league.

School Rugby League Initiatives

Through our School Football Development Officer, Kristian Freed, we collaborate with local schools to promote rugby league. Kristian leads coaching clinics and development programs, culminating in the exciting Friday Night Lights tournament, further strengthening community ties.

Our success is bolstered by partnerships with Brisbane City Council, Rugby League Brisbane, and QRL, enhancing our facilities and expanding our programs to meet the needs of our growing community.
